Congratulations to Clay County's Brianda Owens for being named Class 2a 1st team all state by the KSCA. Owens is the only 13th region player to be named 1st or 2nd team all-state in any of the 3 KSCA softball classes for 2018.

Corbin's Halia Stidham was named class 2A honorable mention.

Very deserving! Made the all tournament team at the state tournament, also. An all around great kid to boot.

I wonder if the Times Tribune or the Sentinel Echo will even cover softball next year.
