DAYTON, Tenn. – K.J. Duronslet (JR/Sacramento, Calif.) registered his fifth double-double of the season, as No. 13 Union College held off host Bryan (Tenn.) 75-69 in Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play.

This was the final game of the regular season for the Bulldogs, who finish 20-7 overall and 17-3 in conference, marking the fifth consecutive season with 20 or more victories. Union enters next week's AAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed.

Bryan falls to 17-11 overall and 11-8 in conference play.

Duronslet paced Union's offense with 20 points to go along with 11 rebounds for his second consecutive double-double.

The game was close throughout the night even though Union took the lead for good with 10:35 left in the first half. The Bulldogs pushed the margin to double digits briefly, but the Lions continually fought back to stay in the game.

Oteriah Lee drained a 3-pointer to put Bryan up 17-15 with 11:06 to go in the first half. But Dominique Lindsey (SR/Tyrone, Ga.) countered with a trey of his own to jumpstart a 7-0 run, as Union quickly built a 22-17 lead with 9:19 left. The Bulldogs took a 38-29 advantage with 2:43 remaining before the Lions reeled off six straight points to make it 38-35 with 51 seconds to go. Jakobe Wharton (SO/Louisville, Ky.) closed out the half with a 3-pointer, sending Union into the break ahead 41-35.

Union opened the second half on a 13-6 stretch its lead to 54-41 with 14:06 remaining. Yet, Bryan roared back with an 11-0 run to slice the deficit to 54-52 with 11:09 to play.

Bryan eventually tied the score twice with the last time coming at 60-all with 7:47 on the clock. The Bulldogs, though, responded with a 9-0 run with Stuart Jackson (SR/Louisville, Ky.) connecting on a pair of 3-pointers in seizing a 69-60 cushion with 3:37 remaining.

The Lions tried to mount a comeback, but the damage had been done as the Bulldogs held on for the 75-69 victory.

After Duronslet, Jackson led Union in scoring with 13 points with Wharton adding 12.

For Bryan, Lee and Isaiah McClain set the tone with 19 points apiece. E.J. Bush helped out with 15 points.
