This was what it was expected to be and a very hard fought battle. Valley just executed a little better down the stretch and didn't panic when Pikeville came back and finally took the lead. Leslie Stewart had a big game for Pikeville but Kayla Newsom for Valley made some big plays down the stretch to seal the deal. Good luck to the ladycats at the state tournament.
