Down to the Final Four and we have two private schools squaring off against public schools. Do Private schools have advantages over Public schools? Would like to hear comments....

Private schools can and do recruit. Public
schools have access to a larger base and
state/local funding.

Private schools have a hugh advantage over public school! They recruit, yes some public schools do, but privats schools can recruit a much larger crowd. That's really the only advantage! They get the best players every year because playes want to win a state title and really the only way they think they can is to go to Lex. Cath, or Lex. Christian, or Sacred Heart or Cov. Cath, or any other private school. IMO Private schools need their own tourney in every sport and let the winner of their tournament meen the winner of the public school tournament.

YES PRIVATE HAS AND ADVANTAGE!!! They can recruit, everyone wants to go to the private schools because they believe that when they're paying 1000 bucks a month and driving 3 counties every month that they're better. You take the recruiting away from private, and public schools would OWN THEM!!!

Private schools do have a MAJOR advantage over Public schools. Tonight LCA started 4 recruited players out of their startng 5. That right there proves they do have a stronger basis then our smaller but still competetive Public schools.

If you don't beleive look at the volleyball state records. See how many non private schools have won the state championship compared to public.
