Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan has died, according to her publicist.

The Irish singer formed the Cranberries in Limerick, Ireland, in 1989, and found massive commercial success behind the strength of hits like, "Zombie" and "Linger."

While multiple outlets have confirmed O'Riordan's passing, as of early Monday afternoon, no further information was available as to what caused the 46-year-old singer's passing.

BBC reports O'Riordan was in London for a recording short recording session with The Cranberries.

"Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time," said a statement from O'Riordan's publicist.
