Who are the teams to watch for? Knott is probably favored but who else has chance to cut the nets down and move on.

Leslie or hazard

Leslie County has a excellent chance of returning back to All A State. Leslie is playing really good basketball. Myers and Mullins are a combo, when they are both on, they cannot be stopped, they are the 2 top players in the region. Collett has his tall girls coming through for him. With Colletts coaching ability, Leslie could be heading to State back to back.
Higgins needs help at Knott to win big games, but don't put them in the corner yet, Should be interesting

I agree Leslie is tough but come on top 2 players in region, don’t think so

I've got a feeling if you ask Honeycutt he won't think he has a cake walk. Owsley in the second round will be a tough game for Knott. Already played them tough on Knotts floor. Anytime you play a team that can score like Owsley it's never an easy game. They have the number 1 player in region that might drop 40 and two freshman (Lynch and Murray) that can flat out play.
Do I think Knott is favorite? Yes
Will it be easy? No
Can Owsley win? Definitely

Good thing is no casualties thanks to good ole Fatpat. Officials said that had this man not eat so many taters and acted as a cushion it could have been much worse.

Ole Fatpat must be getting nervous, he's vowed to do whatever it takes to get that W even if that means putting the taters down and lacing em up.

Late development in this story though, Fatpat is out with a pulled hamstring caused when he attempted to tie his shoes. To much tater gas in one mans gut and something was bound to give way.

I think there is 4 teams that could easily win it. Knott, Owsley, Hazard, and Leslie. Leslie has to be the favorite. They have already beaten Hazard at Hazard, Knott at Knott, and Owsley in a scrimmage. Leslie has the best two young players in the region. Sophomores Mullins and Meyers, can light it up fast. They are surrounded by a solid group of Juniors, and a solid senior.

Leslie has a good team and they have been playing with a lot of energy and I would cast my ballot for them as the favorite. But we all know this is basketball and anything can happen from a girl being upset bc her iphone died and didn't text her bf to just having an off night in general. So, it's anyone's tournament and it's sure to be a good one for the fans and players.

There are a few other young players I think contend with the Leslie youngins. Owsley's Lynch for one.

Best of luck to all of the girls, the All A Classic always fun and brings out the best in the mid season.
