Congratulations Lady Bears, 2017 WYMT Mountain Classic Champions.

This was a hard fought game, and highly physical! South Laurel is the real deal this year; they have a great team!!

Lady Bears played most of this game without their center, Kaylee Gross who left the game in the first quarter with a knee injury.

Prayers for Gross. She is such a great player and Harlan County needs her. I would have bet the farm that without Gross South Laurel would win... WRONG. Good job Harlan County. The best coaching job I have seen Debbie Green do. Congratulations Black Bears.

I hope Gross will be okay. I saw her play this summer with Kentucky Premier and was impressed with her. She was a Premier teammate of Gibson from Owsley.
