Both baseball and softball region championships are all 54th district teams.

Perry Central defeated Leslie 7-1 to win the 54th district crown.

Can the Lady Dores' win the region and perhaps, have an all Perry Central teams in the state tournament or will Leslie County, the team that dethroned the 14th region queen, Estill County, pull out another stunner?

After that miraculous comeback against Letcher Central, this just might be Leslie's year! The big upset over Estill County coupled with the big comeback win certainly gives Leslie County lots of momentum!

I always pull for the Cougars, but if your team wins or loses you will still have to say this has been one of the most exciting girls regional softball tourn ever in the 14th. NOBODY could have predicted this chain of events. GREAT fun-GREAT atmosphere !!!!!
