The Lady Pirates had a rough season last year going 8-17 and getting bounced in the first round of the district tournament on their own home field to Lee County after leading 12-3 going to the 6th inning.
One of the youngest teams I've seen in awhile, Powell County only lost 1 senior from last season, Lexi Brewer. They'll be loaded with seniors, 5. Only 3 juniors, the rest are freshmen and 8th graders.
I've not heard anything about their schedules yet but I would assume, Hazard, Perry, Wolfe, Rowan will be on it.
Powell should fair much better next season.
