Breathitt County wins on a tip in at the buzzer. Hard fought game tonight that the Wolves let slip away.

That's the type of game that is fun to watch. No matter who ends up winning.
Great atmosphere tonight. Gym was packed and both sets of fans really made some noise. Huge shots hit by both teams in the 4th. And it ended on a tip should or should not have counted. Ball was in his hands when the light on backboard was going off. But ref said it was before buzzer. Can not go by the light in high school basketball.
Was it the same ref that said the Harlan County shot against Cordia was good? Lol
Was in attendance for this one. Close game to the wire, and a tough call to make for the refs at the end. Crowd was not as large or as rowdy as I had anticipated.
Keep in mind that the BHS is still without injured Little, who would have definitely made a difference.
Biggest decision maker in this one was rebounding. BHS 40- WC 21. The wolves could not pull down a rebound all night, and that cost them the game!
Should be another thriller in the district championship game between the two @ Wolfe.
It will be hard for Little to come back and just start playing again. It could cause a problem for Breathitt. Little is someone that has to have the ball in his hands and that would also limit O'Hair and Parks touches on offense. Both of them are getting a lot of touches right now.

Rebounding was the stat of the night. Wolfe County got smashed on the boards. Their frontline kids just didn't put up a fight all night.
