Former Rockcastle County lineman Jared Lake was announced the special teams player of the week by the Southern Athletic Association and the University Athletic Association. Lake blocked a 29 yard field goal attempt by Millsaps College with 39 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter to preserve a 31-28 victory at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. Lake also blocked an extra point in the first quarter and soloed three tackles while playing noseguard for the Bears of WUSTL. The win secured Washington University in St. Louis head coach Larry Kindbom his 200th career victory. :Thumbs:

Swelled up I hear. Was ringing two cowbells at the same time during the game so hard that the clacker broke free from inside one of them and hit a lady in the stands. Fortunately she didn't get hurt. He is in a crowd picture during the highlight video.

They posted a television interview on their twitter account yesterday evening about the head coach getting his 200th win. Jared Lake is in it. It's about the third posting on it now.
