This turned out to be a case of bigger is not always better. Nicholas County had some big hogs on their line, with all looking mean and strong. For Fleming the line was much smaller and maybe did not have that passed the looks feature, we all look for all to often.
The defense for Fleming looked to have a sack on quarterback, Isaac Fryman by Zach Alexander but an off sides call negated the sack, with 11:34 left in the opening stanza.
The Panthers defense gave up only seven yards on this drive as they had set the tone for what was about to come.
Josh Crump scrambled to his right and then completed a pass to Alec Hart, that was good for a twelve yard gain, with 9:40 left in the quarter.
With 8:56 left on the clock, Travis Humphrey picked up another Panthers first down with seven yard run. The Panthers was showing early that they were going to be multi-dimensional this season.
Through out the contest the Panthers receivers found a way to get wide opened, making things very easy for their talented gunslinger. This showed up again with 8:21 left on the clock when, Crump found Brad Glascock for a eleven yard gain.
The Panthers dive ended with a Crump nine yard touchdown run as he broke to his right and sprinted into the end zone. The point after by,John David Adams increased the lead to, 7-0 with 8:07 left in the quarter.

At the 5:12 mark Jaden Waller headed to his right and was not stopped until he had a thirteen yard pick up.

Jacob Sexton would get Travis Humphrey(Panthers) for a three yard loss, at the 2:57 mark of the quarter. The Blue Jackets needed a big play as they had looked kind of lost up until this point.

Just :53 into the final frame Billy Willoughby and Cody Moon teamed up to get to Zach Anderson and stop him for a short game, after he had made a catch.
9:42 showed on the clock when Chase Tincher teamed up with, Hunter Brown to stop Travis Humphrey for a two yard loss.
