Jerry Brown has been a disaster for California. Those budget cuts and tax increases may not have been necessary had it not been for all of the new spending programs that Brown initiated. The names of Jerry Brown and Willie Brown will live in infamy for destroying California's economy. The real culprits are the voters who gave the Browns so many opportunities to screw them.

Compared to when Brown was elected a few years ago? California is in much better shape than it was. The Jerry Brown of 2016 is much more practical. His motto of "Let's just get s?%& done" has been backed up by a more centrist approach. Circa 2016, compared to a few years ago, I disagree with your analysis.

We will just have to agree to disagree. California has been bleeding jobs and affluent residents for years. This is at least Brown's third term, if not fourth. He will never be able to atone for all of the damage that he has done to that once prosperous state.
