UK beat Texas A&M 82-77 in Overtime, in a classic SEC Tournament championship game.
When the NCAA brackets came out, Texas A&M got a 3 seed in the West Region but UK got a 4 seed in the East Region.
As Calipari said "Did we not just play a basketball game?"
One of two possible scenarios happened.....
Either the selection committee places no value on winning the conf. tournaments.
Or the seeds were already set before the games took place.
It would not matter win or lose. They are trying to set up everything for T V rattings.
The bracket was leaked before it was announced, so as insideinfo said, it didn't matter if UK won or lost that game as the bracket was already set.
You lost to tO$U, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, and UCLA and they did not make the Big Dance.

The NCAA selection committee uses about 40 different seeding criteria.

They would have made the undefeated team a 4 seed if they could get by with it. slimeballs.
