Leslie opens tonight with the Redbird Lady Cardinals at home.Coach Collett and the Eagles are coming off a 24-5 season from last year.This team returns experienced players in Combs and Griffith along with several young players.No sophomores but some very good freshmen and 8th graders that will develop quickly under Collett.Eagles by 20 tonight.

Final 87-6.Madisyn Combs led Leslie County with 25.Lexie Meyers had 16.Emily Griffith and eighth-grade guard Haylee Mullins each added 12 points.Leslie had 10 players score in the game.Tough night for Redbird as they were outscored 60-2 by halftime.Bench was in early.Redbird has a great group of players and fans.
