Final from the Valley.

This game was over early. SV scored every time they had possession in the first half, hitting the end zone six times. The defense was also stout, barely letting the Hornets do much of anything. The score was 42-0 at halftime.

The second half was played under a running clock, with Magoffin's starters going against SV's backups. The younger Cats were able to hold serve for most of the second half, but Magoffin finally scored a late touchdown to break the shutout. SV's backups made it down to the Hornet 10 yard line afterward, but took a couple of knees to end it.

It was good to see the younger guys get some reps. Good job boys

Good win that allowed some players to rest and some young players to get in the field.

Leslie and SV beat maggofin by around the same amount.. Going by numbers this game later down the road is going to be a dandy! Both very good programs!! Can't wait for that match-up.

Can't go by that Valley is at least 21 points better than Leslie !

Doesn't' mean much. I have been accused of bashing and being negative,so being careful here. Game is at SV, wouldn't matter. SV is clearly the better team in this region. No one should touch them. Only good game will be against Paintsville.

Leslie and SV will be a very good game. Two solid teams looking to make some post season noise.

SV at home and later in season favors the running game IMO. So SV by 2 TD'S.
