Thoughts? Predictions?

I'm thinking 5-5.
Always hard to gauge how good Prestonsburg is going to be for some reason. They could win 5 games on that schedule or they could win them all.
Seven home games, two in-county games and the farthest road game is Sheldon Clark.

This has to be a dream for P-Burg fans.
I'm looking forward to the "rematch" with Shelby Valley on Sept 25th in P'burg.
Two returning players have transferred. Seth Marcum (Johnson Central) Chatlin Jarrell (Pikeville)
Who is going to be the Quarterback this year for the Blackcats?
I agree with you #1BCF 5-5. Four of the wins are a guarantees:East Ridge, Allen Central, Betsy Layne and Sheldon Clark. I see them beating Breathitt Co and possibly Lawrence and Hazard.

Here's my prediction: they will ride Frazier until he drops. And due to his extreme competitiveness he will drop due to injury. Just hope they don't cost him a college career and education.
Worst Case: 5-5
Best Case: 7-3
Most Likely: 6-4

I see losses to Pikeville, Lawrence County, and Shelby Valley.

Hazard I would definitely favor.

Wouldn't be Armageddon if they lost to Leslie County or Breathitt, but think Pburg will be a strong favorite there.
When I see #1 BlackCat fan predict a 5-5 record for Prestonsburg. That gets me thinking a little. Right now I see them losing only to Pikeville, Shelby Valley and yes Leslie County. 7-3 record from 64SUR. :Cheerlead
64 I hope I'm dead wrong, but we just have to many holes to fill. We do have one of the best RB's in the area returning, but only 3 other starters on both sides of the ball return with him. One of those being the kicker. Besides that only 2 other players I can think of return that seen any significant playing time last year.

Key returning players:
Dalton Frasure
Jordan Ray
Tate Green
Paul Stanley
Baily McCoy
Drake Nunnery

Key Players lost:
Jarredd Jarrell
Evan Jarrell
Chatlin Jarrell
Seth Marcum
Chase Ousley
Sean White
Steven Perry
Jackson Reed
Thomas Spears
Gabe Walker

Until I see the final product put on the field I see the following outcome.
Pikeville - L
Sheldon Clark - W
Breathitt County - W (I think its a toss up but going with my team)
Hazard - L
Shelby Valley - L
East Ridge - W
Leslie County - L
Allen Central - W
Betsy Layne - W
Lawrence County - L
^^^#1, Frasure might get you some wins against those team you put an "L" beside practically on his own.

Just joking #1 BlackCat Fan.....I see hazard being down this year. :eyeroll:
Apparently the Blackcats will surprise some people!

I wouldn't be shocked Dalton Frasure is a man among boys. :worthy:

He is the sole reason I put some W's on that list jet. We lost all but 1 from our OL. We need some young fresh faces to step up in order to compete.

I hope they do BP. I don't mean to sound negative, but I have to call it like I see it.

Last year was our best shot to make a run at state. With all the loses to graduation and transfers this year will be tough.

Blackitty...please don't promote 64SUR into thinking!! You know how dangerous that is.
Left out Steven Little on key players returning that seen significant playing time last year. Hope I didn't forget anyone else.
life after Jarrell will be tough!

Your name suits you, definitely a homer. No way P-burg beats Breathitt, Sheldon Clark, or Betsy Layne. I'm saying 2-8. Use common sense or:gtfo:
