Knott also plays Jenkins this night. Did they play as a split squad? Not taking anything away from Hazard though. They have a good team and the result may not be different.

Nice early season win for Hazard. KCC will be a different team in a month. Several of their key players were playing basketball at Rupp just last week. Top two teams in the region IMO.
Bristol, Johnson, Chance Cornett and Turner pitched in the game at some point. Wells pitched for Hazard. I think Wells had 17 or 18 strike outs.

Ok thanks, I was just curious. Hazard seems to have started the season off in the right direction.
Hazard is a very close group of players.They have only gave up a few runs thus far in the season and offensively they produce runs.Hazard left several players on base last night also.Hazard's defense and pitching is very fluent and boys have worked hard to get to this point.Very fun group to be around and watch.
