Unfortunately, Wyoming stole a bid tonight by winning the MWC. That just about eliminates Murray State from having any hope of an at-large bid.

With the experts saying Indiana, Purdue, UCLA and Texas are in, adding Wyoming means there are no other bids left for Murray State. Looks like BYU and possibly Cincinnati could also be NIT bound. If UCONN wins the American, Cincinnati could be left out.

Too bad for Murray State, they had a great season. The OVC is killing itself by not letting the regular season determine its bid. Belmont is a 1-and-done team in the 14, 15 range without any chance of winning. Hampton is also in with a losing record, and their champion of the regular season N. Carolina Central is out. Not good.
Murray didn't have a chance anyway after losing to Belmont. Not new news.
