This is JC's FIRST EVER WIN at the Sweet 16. This is their 9th appearance.

Scott Ratliff from WSIP radio had me tore up like a cheap box on confetti.... He did a great job with the call of the game!!!!

Sounded like Coach Rice set his starters down in the 3rd qtr. because of the way they were playing...... and it paid off.


In three days time.....
JC boys basketball won the 15th Region for a 4 Peat
JC had 1 state champion wrestler and 3 other placers (5th, 6th, 6th)
JC girls basketball got their first ever win at the Girls Sweet 16.

Fatpat don't like when two mountain teams meet in the first round. Congrats to Letcher and Cougar Nation on a good run from Patriot Nation! Props to Johnson Central! Wowza,hope Eagle Nation rises up over Mason Royals tonight! More mashed taters please!!!

The bench players contributed in a big way for most of the wins this season.I can only see 2 players that should have started in every game this year. But in the end this is what it takes. All of the team playing together as one!!! Great season for the JC team!
