IF UK wins this Saturday over Florida.... is the feat of going 31-0 in the Regular Season worthy of hanging a banner in the rafters of Rupp Arena?

I SAY YES!!!!! 31-0 is incredible!!!!! Somebody wins the Nat'l Title every year. It's awesome to have 8 championship banners, but I say the 31-0 deserves a banner as well.

If I'm Coach Cal, I already have the banner made up and in place so after the game, the team can run over and pull the sheet off of it.

UK, DO THE RIGHT THING...... WE WILL NEVER HAVE THIS TYPE RUN AGAIN!!!! THIS IS A GOLDEN AGE (not THE golden age) OF UK BASKETBALL!!!!

Why don't they just have the ceremony before the game?

No, an undefeated regular season is not worthy of a banner unless it is followed by another national title. Calipari would be a fool to hang a banner following the last regular season game. Kentucky has not won an SEC tournament in several years. Imagine how stupid Cal would look if the 'Cats made a quick exit from the SEC tournament after hanging a 31-0 banner from the rafters. There is no reason to open the door to the kind of ridicule that would result if that was to happen.

no way,that means nothing,Cal even said he didn't care if they lose during the season(he probally didn't really mean it,lol)all that's for nothing if they don't bring home the Title,because no one will remember them for anything except for not winning it all...

True, but you get the gist of it, regular season accolades are nice and 31-0 is a big accomplishment. But when you're on Kentucky's level, they don't mean much without a good run in the NCAA tournament. I'd like to go 40-0 just to piss off Bobby Knight.

I don't bet,but if I did I would say,Johnson,Ullis,Lee,Willis, Alex,Floreal, and maybe Lyles will be back and everyone else gone..
