Thanks for sharing. I think the best first round game may be Region 5 (Taylor) vs. Region 2 (Henderson). The Region 11 vs. Region 12 game will be a fun game to watch as well. I think the 14th did get a good draw.
Not seeing that good of a draw for the 14th. Would have been better for them if the 7th was in the other side.
They will have to play Ballard or Trinity sometime. Looks like they will get to wait until Saturday, which is semifinals. I don't see Region 4 or Region 1 knocking them off. NCC has given Knott trouble over the past couple years and they are in the upper bracket.
Knotts should coast to Saturday morning
They don't play on Saturday mornings anymore. That being said with KCC's past record in the Sweet 16 I wouldn't say they'll coast anywhere. Region 1 is fairly weak but I wouldn't go ahead and pencil in a win for a region 4
Region 1 is very weak region 4 is the weakest its been in years region 16 is weak region 11 not as strong as past years region 7 Trinity or Ballard the only one that can beat Knott I think. Top I like Region 2 Henderson or Hoptown in the semi along with region 9 representative.
Top bracket Henderson Hoptown vs Newport Cath or Cov. Catholic
Bottom bracket Knott County vs Ballard or Trinity. this should be your semi finals
But their is a lot of basketball left to play.
Good draw for the 14th.14TH representative,more than likely Knott,should be playing in the semi finals.
The 15th Region has drew Region 7 as their first round game several times over the past few years....
'12/'13 - Johnson Central lost to Ballard 54-75.
'07/'08 - Paintsville beat Jeffersontown 93-87.
'05/'06 - Johnson Central lost to Jeffersontown (State Champions) 49-68.
'02/'03 - Shelby Valley lost to Ballard 48-66.
Tough out for the 15th? the way i view it, this will be a very tough out for the 7th. My dawgs took trinity down to the wire in the zip sone i have no doubt they will take care of them at Rupp!
