There are 2 things that jumps at me.
1st is Boyd they beat Elliott On Boyd's home court & Beat Rowan at Rowan, to me that makes them clearly #1.
2nd Ashland 0-forever still ranked ahead of Russell who beat them.

Someone please explain.

Cantrell uses some kind of mathematical formula to come up with his ratings. It's suppose to take the favoritism from humans out of it. Although most of the time it's garabge. It had Clay behind a team it had already beat 2x this year and they had a worse record.
