The Devils came out tonight with some intensity and fire in there eyes. They capitalized on Flemings mistakes and played some stifling defense. If they keep this intensity they have a chance to get to the carpet.
Totally different team than we saw in the regular season.

I agree the only score was on the 3rd team late in the 4th I think that speaks alot about the intensity of the Devils tonight.
Interesting. My wife just came to me and told me that they reported on WSAZ that Fleming Co walked off the field at the end of the third quarter and quit playing. I stayed till the end and what I think has happened is that someone forgot to change the quarter on the scoreboard. It showed that it was the third when in actuality the game was over. We had a running clock at 2:53 left in the third.
Sometimes newscasters need to verify their information a bit better.

If the DEVILS play next week like they did tonight LOOK OUT everyone in Kentucky. They really came out focused and ready to play. Now if we can only keep that intensity and focus I may be needing to get a ride to the carpet. I know that there is still plenty of good teams to go but WOW what a game by the Devils.
Too bad that we cannot play the state championship game at HRE!!!

Tyler Jones now has 1,002 yards passing on the season Congrats on passing this milestone that only one other qb at Russell has done.
How can no one comment on the wonderful catch and dive Marcus Frazier had for a TD early in the game. Marcus has turned into quite the compliment to the arm of Tyler Jones.

Here is a stst you wont here anywhere else.. Russell played 69 kids last night in the district championship game. 11 kids ran the ball last night, 8 will be back next year to play. RELOAD next year too.

Playing 69 different kids in a game is great! Sounds like Russell has the numbers this year.... So how many out of the 11 kids that ran the ball actually play varsity with substantial time?
Marcus' catch was great but what made it better is that the ball was tipped, he adjusted and still dove into the endzone.... Yes what an addtition he has become.

Haha, yeah they didnt leave, they played till it was over, i saw that on the news as well, and didnt think that it was right, b/c i was on the sidelines :thatsfunn
Good job Devils......that should be the way we come out for every game, making stops and moving the ball like its nobody's business.....Thats the potential this team has. we just have to unleash the fury on someone.
