A man is walking home alone late one foggy Halloween night, when behind him he hears…

Walking faster, he looks back and through the fog he makes out the image of an upright coffin banging its way down the middle of the street toward him.[/b][b] It seems to be coming closer to him as it makes the sound…[/b][b]

Terrified, the man begins to run toward his home, the coffin bouncing quickly behind him…[/b][b]

The man runs up to his front[/b][b] [size=4]door, fumbles with his keys, opens the door, rushes in, slams and locks the door behind him. Inside, the man begins to breath again… shaking, trembling…[/b] [/size]

…Suddenly, the coffin crashes through the man’s door, with the lid of the coffin clapping…

…[/b][b]Screaming, the terrified man runs[/b][b] up the steps to the second floor of the house. He can hear the coffin bumping up the stairs behind him, on his heels…[/b]

Rushing into the upstairs bathroom, the man slams the door and locks himself in. His heart is pounding; his head is reeling; his breath is coming in sobbing gasps.[/b][b]

With a loud CRASH! the coffin breaks down the door….[/b][b]

….[/b][b] Bumping and clapping toward him.[/b]

The man screams and reaches for something, anything, but all he grabs is a bottle of cough syrup![/b]

i'm not sure if i should laugh or cry...

ummm....okay....I was expecting it to be someone dresssed up trying to scare him so...lol....

After buying enough candy for four hundred little "trick or treaters" and it pouring the rain and only giving out half the candy (leaving the rest for me to have to eat). I really enjoyed that little bit of spooky Halloween humor...... thanks very much.
