Unbelievably it seems as if Hillary's successor is even more wacked out than she. John Kerry went to the Middle East to demonstrate the power of hollow words, American hollow words mind you. And found out that there are a number of folks over there, other than Mr Putin, who "don't display 21st century thinking" and "are on the wrong side of history."


WASHINGTON (AP) — [SIZE="2"]"Obama administration officials were fuming Monday over a torrent of Israeli criticism of Secretary of State John Kerry’s latest bid to secure a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas.

In unusually harsh language, officials said the criticism of Kerry could put the relationship between the U.S. and Israel in jeopardy. They also said the personal attacks on Kerry crossed a line and were particularly disappointing at a time of active conflict.

Israeli media commentators have leveled almost nonstop criticism at Kerry in recent days over his attempts to bring Qatar and Turkey — two countries viewed by Israel as strong Hamas supporters — into the cease-fire negotiations. Kerry was also being accused of abandoning some of Israel’s key demands during the negotiations.

In trying to implement the cease-fire over the weekend, “U.S. Secretary of State of State John Kerry ruined everything,” wrote columnist Ari Shavit in Monday’s Haaretz, Israel’s leading liberal newspaper. “Very senior officials in Jerusalem described the proposal that Kerry put on the table as a ‘strategic terrorist attack’.”[/SIZE] http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2014...e-friends/

Folks, I'm convinced we live in the last days. Though every last media outlet on the planet may dog pile on Israel and, though everybody who supports Israel may be mocked, berated or laughed to scorn, the above verse will hold.

BTW, you gotta love the courage and character of the Jew. After being threatened for not giving proper homage to Mr Kerry, the Israeli Ambassador to the US sent a message to John Kerry to go back home and let Israel take care of her own business.

Are you referring to the jaunty John Kerry who briefly "served" in Vietnam where he "earned" three Purple Hearts in a matter of weeks (one for a self-inflicted wound), was immediately discharged, and likes to sail in his sailboat paid for with Republican Heinz money inherited by his wife?

Jaunty John is also known as "Lurch". He is one of the most pompous asses to ever hold a government job. Of course, all that Sen. John Heinz (Republican) money inherited by his wife, the viper, tends to help.

:hilarious: Lurch and Viper huh? Still flattering terms if one can conclude that he will continue to try to effect foreign policy with the same level of naïveté demonstrated in the Middle Eastern cease fire negotiations of the past week. Now, any such consideration should be viewed against the backdrop which has been the major complaint about that process from the Israeli side, and that is, who asked him for any help? Israel knows when they will bring about a ceasefire and, that will be when the tunnels and the rockets from the Gaza Strip have been eliminated. Not when a bozo comes there and treats them like they're a bunch of idiots who don't know what they're doing or what their objectives are. I don't blame them for blasting Kerry and Obama for their arrogance.

Frankly, I have sincere doubts whether anybody in the US State Department or the Executive branch, has the first glimmer as to what is going on between Hamas and the Israeli government. Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the sovereign state of Israel, has military objectives to fulfill in order to protect the citizens of Israel. On the other hand, US mainstream media, the Dean of Arab American University, and all the die hard liberals are trying their darnedest to make it seem that Israel is overreacting to the actual threat. All they talk about is a lasting ceasefire as if Israel and Hamas are just like kids fighting about something insignificant. LOL, likely if authorities here in the US were to find hardened cross-border tunnels coming in from Mexico, the liberals in DC would demand a huge appropriation of tax dollars to provide air conditioning and baths in those tunnels for humanitarian reasons.

The inmates are running the asylum my friend. Although you certainly know what I'm saying, it still bears repeating. Israel does not require the go ahead to defend herself, not from the US, the Arab League, or the UN. Israeli leadership doesn't suffer from the neurosis which has beset American leadership. And consequently, the mindless machinations of the uninvited John Kerry have drawn fire from clear minded statesmen of Israel. Meanwhile, our own state department is suffering from the delusion that there really is something called 21st century thinking. They deny the events playing out on the world stage as anomalies and insist true reality is congruent with the liberal vision of John Lennon. I'm telling you, these guys are certifiable. At any rate, "Lurch" went to the Middle East to negotiate terms for those living in the real world, with the credential of a staunch liberal. Put succinctly, it was La-La Land versus the real world. Naturally, he failed.
