Scott County's 7 footer Raekwon Long is transferring to Mt. Zion in Durham, NC.

Mt. Zion is well known nationally for its basketball program. It has several alumni NBA, most notably Tracy McGrady.

He has a long way to go to be in those ranks. I wish him the best

I don't think this surprised anyone in SC or the 11th region. It has been out there for a while now that he intended on playing elsewhere next season. Good luck to the young man! He has a lot of potential and natural ability. Hopefully for his sake he will realize that potential.
