The Southeastern Conference Player of the Year, Kentucky junior left-handed pitcher/first baseman A.J. Reed has been named one of 21 semifinalists for the 2014 Golden Spikes Award, given annually to the top collegiate player in the nation, it was announced by USA Baseball on Tuesday.
