Anyone know who the Pirates third game was against?

13th ranked team in the nation. 1st in North carolina.

Where did you find those rankings? According to Baseball America and USA Today they aren't ranked in the Top 25th. The only team that's ranked in the Top 25 is T.C. Roberson in Asheville.

According to USA Today, North Buncombe is the 5th ranked team in NC

They were ranked in last weeks Maxpreps poll, #13 I believe.

This was the April 1st poll and it shows at the bottom they were #13 the previous week, dropped out after a loss to TC Roberson.

I think Maxpreps rankings are based on teams who enter stats on their website. Still a good showing by the Pirates

I saw this team play in Myrtle Beach and they were loaded. Had 3 D-1 signees in the lineup along with some outstanding underclassmen. Their #1 arm has committed to SC, but is a projected high draft pick. He was a lefty in the low 90's. He threw 4 innings against East Carter.
