Estill County returns everyone from last year's team that only won 7 games, that should make for a much better season then they have had past two seasons.

Feb. 21 @ Wolfe County
I'm unsure about these dates but these teams should be/are on the schedule, @ Model (Dec. 1), @ Berea (Dec. 8), @ Madison Southern (Jan. 12), @ North Laurel (Jan. 22 or 27). Pretty sure that Pendleton County will be on it.
Do you have any insight as to why Estill Co decided to quit playing Letcher County Central? They played for the past several years and decided to not schedule this year. Was a good home/away series.

I honestly have no idea. I was surprised when I didn't see them or Knott Central on the schedule this past season.
good for who??? Not good for Estill... getting spanked by thirty or more.
I believe that not wanting to get humiliated and plus driving two hours one way to get humiliated would be enough reason not to play LCC....the road home is even worse after a nice team and a very nice coach does all it can to keep the score from being lopsided...hope that answers your question BLAZE9..

^ Just seen it on KHSAA, The girls region for next season is at Knott County Central so that's probably why Estill scheduled Knott.

Heard through the grapevine that Coach McKinley has either resigned or is going to resign as girls basketball and volleyball head coach.
It's true Coach McKinley is stepping down as volleyball and girls basketball head coach
Rumor has it that former Powell County boys head coach, Brian hall took the position and also got Assistant AD.
