GGGGGGGGGGGGGG OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO C A T S
UK is lucky to be in top 25, but is it just me or does it always look like UK drops in the polls muck more than other teams do? It seems UK always drops 5-8 places in the polls while other teams lose and only drop 1-2 spots. I try to look at it without the blue tinted glasses, but just seems UK goes down the poll a lot faster with loses and up a lot slower with wins than the rest of the teams.

Agree, but we are lucky to still be 25

I don't think we saw big drops after the losses to Michigan State. But Baylor is the 43rd ranked team in the nation, dropping down after that loss to #10 was definitely appropriate. They stated between 10-15 after losses to North Carolina and even held their position between 15-17 with losses to Florida (not necessarily a bad loss) then BAD losses to #63 LSU and two losses to #53 Arkansas.

UK was ranked #17 when they lost by five to the #173rd ranked South Carolina. I guess I would ask whether they even deserve to be ranked at all?

Kentucky's wins are nothing impressive. Their three marquee wins are against teams ranked no higher than #30 in the RPI:

#30 Louisville
#47 Tennessee
#40 Missouri

Thats it!

There next highest win after that is #55 Boise St, and #59 Belmont and then a win against LSU! After they their next highest ranked team the beat is #82 Cleveland St.

It does not help that the SEC is a miserable basketball conference, thus I would still contend that UK is LUCKY to be ranked at all, and probably should have been out of the Top 25 for several weeks!
Syracues loses 4/5, will we see them take a big drop in the polls or will they stay in top 10? Duke has another lose, will they stay in top 5-10? Cincinnati has had several loses (nice win against Memphis), how much do they drop? Just seems these teams stay up in the polls regardless of loses. And do not give me the loses are to good teams. Witchata state remains at the top and the did not play any good teams, very little rhyme of reason to the poll this year IMO.

UK is out of the top 25 after this weekend!

Days later and still crickets. Stardust must be correct?
