What about the referees that let these games, especially rivalry games, get out of hand? Where's the suspensions for these clowns?
I am glad the the 13th region doesn't get them in post season this year.
^^
I agree. As much as I disagree with most of the refs I see in the 13th region, the ones from the 14th are so much worse!
Come on now, you know it doesn't get better than Brian "The Dancing Man" Napier, Rick Creech, Roy Spencer, and Will "The Thrill" Fugate over here in the 14th.

(clearly sarcasm)
I was going to comment on your post, but I seriously cannot determine which one is the biggest show boat!!

Oh, and by the way, I am ousted to the refs in the 13th!! I was complaining on here the other day, and we happened to be playing that night. Well, one of the refs asked the radio commentator if he knew Granny Bear. Oh yes, and she's sitting right over there (pointing to me); she's my sister.

What is one going to do??

AND, I've discovered that they CAN hear me. The other night when we played Lynn Camp, I yelled at one of them and told him I would give him $50 if he didn't blow his whistle anymore! He turned around, looked straight at me and said....did you say $50???
So when you're screaming insults, and they ignore you, they CAN hear you!!

Confusednicker:
I think I would be safe in saying that just like players behavior is like there coach so do officials. How do you honestly expect the officials in the 14th to do there job when you see who is there boss and suppose to be setting the example...... any thoughts?:flame:
^
I don't know what you saying, to be honest.

I mean how can you except the officials to be good and do there jobs and be taken serious when t. hall is the assigning secretary. he is just after power
Sorry, 3PT, I'm not familiar with t.hall.
T. Hall isn't worth the effort it took to write this post. He was a sorry referee and even sorrier as the assigning secretary. One thing is for certain, he's going to take care of his Patriots.
Sounding more and more like the 13th.

Smile
I always try my best to never say anything to about the refs cause I understand how hard their job is. I was completely floor when Cordia got 2 shots and the ball after "The Punch" the other night. I understand that PCC had 2 kids leave the bench but I'm honest in saying Cordia had at least 5/6 kids that hit the floor w/ Rhodes holding them back. I was very disappointed w/ Roy Spencer, Cook and Ralph Fugate. These are 3 guys I've have thought really high of in the past especially Spencer. No excuse for this to happen and the penalties but what they were. No excuse. It's the refs job to watch the benches and they watch only one. Come on man, y'all are suppose to be veterans at this.
I don't know any of them personally. Are they the type to be influenced by Cordia?
^ No
Then what? They not see the Cordia bench with 5 players off?
The technical fouls that were called were right on, IMO. I'm just thinking that Cordia may should've had another one or two. Given all the hype that was bound to be happening, would they have just stopped calling Ts to try and calm the atmosphere?

When things go from Zero to Road Warrior like they did on Friday night...
refs miss things.

I know it stinks...
but I just think you had a kid getting escorted out by police after nailing a Mr. Basketball Finalist in the back of the head, people fighting in the stands, fans screaming to the top of their lungs and the ref just missed it.
My bad Zaga. I shouldn't have called out names I forgot man. You can delete if need be.

You can call out the names of the refs...
as long as one of them isn't posting on here under a username and you out them on here Confusedinglepar

Hey, ain't nobody hating on Refs. I'm the first to say how hard their job is but I was at this game and directly behind the Cordia bench and at least 5/7 of them was on the floor. That's not including the 2/3 that was half way in the stands. No excuse what so ever so 1 of the 3 officials not to see that. I'm sorry if you don't agree. These are 3 veteran officials that should have known that 1 has one bench and the other 1 has the other bench. That's part of the process as a ref. Spencer said Fugate had their bench and he said he didn't see anyone leave the bench. I'm not hating on Fugate but that's just totally incorrect. I'm sorry, he didn't look that way if he said he didn't see anyone leave the bench. The state police got the kids out of the stands and and if they had not been there it would have been ugly!
When you don't think it could be any worse it can. I played when we had Bill Dixon, Smokey Jones, Charles Kirk and the Butcher Brothers ......,Fraleys favorites.
justin amburgey is probably the best..what region is he
Amburgey is 14th and he is solid. A shame though that his coaching career ended, KCC done him wrong.
Justin does a good job as a official. Thacker does a good job too as a official if you can get a beer can out of his hand and out the stands chasing women. that is his down fall him and don hall are the worst at this but to thackers credit he can referee and will not let the game to get out of hand

Guess what Pulp, I had my officiating license for years. They've only been expired for a short time.
Wink

I remember those!!! Kirk still officiates, and still gets the biggest thrill out of making a call as everyone gazes on!! LOL

Apparently you wasn't at the Breathitt/Wolfe game that Thacker, Napier and Ritchie let get out of hand.

Ok really it's time to let it go.... We all agree on one thing that Chapman was 100% wrong. It is over and he is being punished. I feel the ref made mistake by allowing them to play tough to long. But none of our opinions will change anything. People make mistake expect the consequences and go on......:Sad04::Sad04:
