Well, who's the number one team in the 16th now? No longer a clear-cut favorite...
I would have to say that the Lady Lions are the favorite to win the region! They have beaten the Kittens and East Carter this year. When I watch them play it reminds of the teams Coach Fraley played on at Boyd very hard working and always ready to play.
Gotta go with a VERY close race between East and Ashland. Boyd is third IMO. Ashland lost to Boyd early, but beat them by 17 in their second meeting. Ashland lost to East by only 1 at their place. But East did beat Ashland nevertheless, so the edge has to go to the Lady Raiders at this point. East and Ashland play once more before the post-season begins. I think it goes down to the wire and determines the region favorite going into district play.
