Yes. For most of the season the North had the top 3 teams. The #1 and #3 seeds in the North are on the same side with the #2 from the South. The #2 in the North is with the #1 and #3 in the South which turned out to be a big advantage this season. Should be a great championship game.
When one side is loaded it is always best to get the 2 seed unless there is a dominant team on the other side.
