Brock Ervin from Union County is looking to become (to my knowledge) the first ever 5 TIME State Wrestling Champion. He is currently ranked #1 in the 132 lbs. weight class.
2010 - 8th Grade; 103 lbs. (1st)
2011 - 9th Grade; 112 lbs. (1st)
2012 - 10th Grade; 126 lbs. (1st)
2013 - 11th Grade; 126 lbs. (1st)
Since the 2010 season, Brock is 20-0 at his four previous state tournament apperances. (5 matches to win the state title)
He has 2 wins by Decision; 5 wins by Majority Decision; 3 wins by Technical Fall; 10 wins by Fall.
Anytime somebody wins a state title more than one time in a career is exceptional. Winning a state title 4 times puts you in an elite status. But if Mr. Ervin keeps doing what he does and wins his 5th state title.... he will be known as the best high school wrestler in Kentucky history.
