SC19-PC19
End of 1st
They can't do anything with JJ
Go perry county. :Cheerlead
Perry up 32-26 and Scott Co went on a 10-0 run.
Sc 36-PC 32
In 2nd quarter
I'm impressed with Johnson for PCC. Long, SC's 7'1" big man must be in coach Hicks' doghouse. He has played a total of about 2 minutes.

Justin Johnson with 18 at the half
JJ with 14 boards in 1st

Final
Johnson with 36
86-78 Scott County Final. The difference in the game was that SC opened the 3rd quarter on something like an 18-2 run to go up 16. Johnson and Gilbert put on a show. However said Gilbert couldn't create a shot in another thread may need some psychiatric treatment. These have to be two of the best scorers in the state. Nicely played game by both teams.
Good game for PCC

Gilbert sure does shoot his arm off
He is tough though

Yep, BUT the darn thing goes in. 38% from 3 point line, usually off the dribble with people all over him.
Martini had 13 rebounds, 10 in second half. Martini is a tough kid. Hicks is very complimentary of PCC's toughness in his post game interview. I think this is PCC's first loss with their entire lineup. Beverly beat SC off the dribble all night. Johnson controlled the boards. PCC will be a tough out in the 14th. Gilbert had 33 points for SC, most while he was HEAVILY guarded. Johnson's average of 19 rebounds a game is unbelievable. #24 for PCC, a freshman, came off the bench for PCC to score 9 points.
Not much D in this 1! No Beverly highlights in this one.
