RunItUpTheGut and myself love games like this... two Wing T teams going at it. Scott County fumbles on it's opening possession. Meade driving.
Four minutes in before we see our first pass, I love it.

4-4 look for the Cardinals against the Wing-T of Meade County. Meade is going to have to punt, and SCHS Thomas Daniel (who makes the sack) is injured.
GreenWave punter loses the snap, and the Cards have it!
One play, Scott County coughs it up... turnovers a many in the first quarter and the GreenWave offense is back on the field.
Scott County's defense swarms, 3rd and long for the Green Wave. Meade County has to call a timeout to avoid a delay of game.
Meade's QB Wilson sacked on his 2nd pass attempt. Scott County looks very fast defensively. Meade to punt to Scott Daniel... no return. Scott will start in their own territory for the first time tonight. 4:41 to go in the 1st.
Huge stop on 3rd and 1 by Meade County! 4th and 1... and the Cardinals move the chain as they have crossed into Meade territory again.
Time-out, didn't catch who called it. 0-0 tie 3 minutes in the 1st. Near 1,000 yard rusher Kevin Clausen limped off on that play for Scott County.
Clausen must be fine, he's back at fullback. Quarterback McKee moves the chains on 3rd down and the Cardinals are on a drive.
Keep the updates belfry0304...... thanks. Soundingon lika battle
#11 King makes an incredible play to break up the TD pass to Scott Daniel, Scott County's Palmer Ward misses a FG after the announcers heap his praise.

Daniel looks like a weapon Scott County is going to rely on to win this game.

Announcers giving a shout out to Belfry's Austin Woolum during the 6A Game
End of the first, 0-0 score (Cardinal player injured to end the quarter but no mention of who)

Big play before the half a long run into Cardinal territory for the Green Wave
Meade trying to capitalize on Scott's quickness to the ball with counters.

It was 24 McKeehan injured for the Cards
Meade County has to punt, they avoid Scott Daniel and down it at the 6. Good play by the punter Stegner and his special teams corps!
Scott County on a little bit of a drive, reverse to Scott Daniel and the Green Wave contains him, big defensive play... but what little gain it got is lost on the holding call.
3rd and 11, fullback fake they hand to Theo Price on the counter and he is STUCK by the big defensive lineman Ferguson to force a punt!
6:11 in the 1st half, 0-0 and Meade's got it at the 30. Both teams bending a little, but not breaking.
Meade's John Wilson is picked off! Scott's Grayson Miller on the pick and they're within about 31 yards of a lead... Meade has looked lost when they have to throw the ball. Bad pass blocking and now a pick.
Wow wish I could see this game
BIG #37 for Scott County Kevin Clausen from 1 yard out for a Cardinal touchdown... 7-0 lead for them now and the way their defense has looked thus far that may be all it takes. Meade County defense looked awfully worn down at points of that drive.
Meade #16 Nick O'Brien takes the Scott County kickoff to the 1 YARD LINE! HUGE PLAY! A yard from scoring!!
JOHN WILSON! Into the end zone with a push from his halfback... touchdown GREEN WAVE of Meade County! They'll go for two and they fail to get it. 7-6! Good answer but back comes the Meade County defense following the kickoff that looked awfully tired.
Big play by Keith Guy as he crosses into Meade County territory... 1st down Scott County
#12 Scott Daniel reels in a touchdown pass, hands on hips for Meade County they look tired... play action stings the Green Wave. BIG play for the Cards and they may start the drubbing from here. 14-6 Cards less than a minute to go.
Halftime at WKU, it's the Scott County Cardinals with the 14-6 lead. The Cards first score set up by an interception in Green Wave territory, the Green Wave return the ensuing kickoff to the one and then the QB Wilson punched it in, and the Cards come right back before the half and toss a TD pass to have the lead. Scott County overcomes 2 turnovers on their first two drives as well. Meade County's defense looked extremely tired on the two scoring drives so the Cardinals may have them on the ropes.
Look for cards to open it up in the 2nd half
Here comes the 2nd half, Meade County to receive this kickoff.
First completion that I remember for Meade goes to #6 John Millay
Meade trying to fake fullback and halfbacks some and let John Wilson carry the ball to get some yardage
2nd and 7, Meade tries to pass and Wilson is sacked again.
