I'm a little surprised Belfry is the underdog in this one. Also, if Bowling Green is a 24 point favorite against John Hardin, how much will the spread be if they make the finals against Pulaski County or Anderson County?

If I were setting the line right now:

BG (-40.5) against Anderson County and (-42.5) against Pulaski

John Hardin's ball control style and their athleticism is the only thing that keeps the number down a bit...that and the close game last year and how JH played Highlands tough. Pulaski and Anderson neither have the athletes of JH and with the clock stopping for incompletions I could see it getting uglier with an increase in possessions. I think AC enters as a favorite against Pulaski.

If the Bourbon/Belfry game were at Belfry I would reverse the line... Belfry has had defensive issues all season that are still a concern.. Bourbon has a decided advantage with experience returning 9 starters whereas Belfry has 5 Freshman seeing significant playing time... and playing at Home certainly helps.

In my opinion, one shouldn't read too much into JH's close game with Highlands. And that's all I'll say on that.

You are right Charlie because Bowling Green has a much better defense than Highlands. I don't think we will push them around like we did Highlands.
