I agree this is a good win for KY Highschool football!
St. Xavier of Louisville jumped out to a quick lead, then held on against visiting St. X-Cincinnati 24-16 in high school football action Friday night.

The Tigers (6-4) jumped out to a 24-7 lead at halftime before the Bombers (5-5) cut the lead to 24-16 but were stopped on a fourth-down play at the Tigers' 13-yard line with 1:03 to play.

"Our defense was put on the line tonight and they stepped up," St. X coach Will Wolford said. "It has been a roller-coaster season for us and the defense. It was great to see them make plays."

Charles Walker had nine carries for 36 yards and two rushing touchdowns to help the Tigers grab their early double-digit lead. B.J. Nagle passed for 173 yards and had a 58-yard touchdown pass to Luke Hayden in the second quarter.

"Charles is a warrior," Wolford said. "... He is a special player for us because of everything he can do. Someone smart will offer him a scholarship to play on Saturdays soon."

The Bombers' Nick Tensing went 26 of 48 for 219 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

I am soooo glad to see when a Ky school beats an Oh school. That is always great since they think they are the best football state ever. The Oh vs the country type thing a certain sports commentator started. There is great football all across this country, why do they think Oh is something?
