As long as Central stays in 3a they will continue to dominate

Let me ask this question. How come Central isn't involved in the bussing that goes on in the rest of Jefferson County?

Central is a magnet school.

This is from the Central website:

Central is an "all-magnet" school. Those wishing to attend Central must submit an application to attend during the Open Enrollment period for Jefferson County Public Schools. The initial application is sent to the Office of Optional, Magnet, and Advance Programs at the VanHoose Education Center. Applicants will then receive a Central Magnet Application. Prospective students must submit to Central the following:

School transcripts of sixth, seventh grade, current eighth grade (minimum GPA 2.5)
KCCT scores / achievement test scores (minimum of 3 stanine),
Academic recommendations from a math teacher, a science teacher and an administrative recommendation,
Student attendance report
Student behavior detail report, and.
Student essay.

I would assume that is why their numbers are not as high as other schools in Jefferson County.
