Rough on both sides. Bourbons back up sprained his ankle this week, and Bourbon went with a kid that has never played QB. I believe they ran about 4 different plays. Garrads qb went down early in the game, so their play calling was limited as well. Bourbon needs Pope back ifthey want to compete at all in the Belfry game.
^ Thought he was DEFINATELY out for the year? What is the truth man?
Good win for Bourbon overcoming adversity.

According to Bourbon's twitter account, Pope had surgery this morning..
4-6 weeks
BC has it rolling. Congrats to them.
What happend to Pope?

Small fracture in the fibula i believe, and bone separation from the ankle, which I always thought was the growth plate. He had surgery to put in a couple of screws to reconnect the ankle.
What about the RB?
No concussion ... Severe migraines

Wow hate to hear that about this young talented man . I got to see him play as a Sophomore when he was the QB for Nicholas Co playing against Fairview . I knew then he would be a special player .hoping for a speedy recovery
So the QB will be back in 4-6 weeks and the RB just has migraines. That is great for Bourbon and those kids. A far cry from the post a few days ago swearing they were both season ending and Bourbon was doomed
4-6 weeks is the most likely the season and initial diagnosis on the rb was a severe concussion and out for the season. Specialist told him no concussion.

I can't recall a post where anyone swore anything, I simply relayed both's initial diagnosis.
Along with that I said Bourbon would likely still make the Belfry game, but would not be competitive without Pope, and that statement is still true imo.
What an ugly game...... Agree with HS, Bourbon will need Pope to have a chance
against Belfry..... Garrard has to take a step back and find some answers to the
rotation.... Going to be a bumpy road ahead for Garrard.....
