1. Pulaski County- Maroons make a statement by crushing the Briar Jumpers.

2. Wayne County- Cardinals are for real in 3A and announce their arrival by putting a running clock on a 3A Semi-Finalist from last season.

3. Knox Central- The Panthers had little to worry about with lowly Atherton

4. Russell County- The Lakers pick up where they left off..but the dominance of last season just doesnt seem to be there

5. Glasgow- Expectations are high for the Scotties and they got off on the right foot with a 48-0 throttling of Hart County



Just Missing:
Williamsburg- Give the 1A school some love for going on the road and dominating a larger TN team while other school's ahead of them took it on the chin

Russell County- WasnSomerset- Briar Jumpers have potential, but that loss to Pulaski stings and Belfry is a tall task

Whitley County- Colonels got crushed by a good Motown West team.

Pulaski and Wayne are clear cut 1 and 2. Pulaski jumps to the front with their whipping of Somerset.

It's going to look good when Williamsburg make it in the top 5 mark it down.Brg power ranking but for right now hh:hh:hh:

Hmmmmm let's see. Knox Central beats a lowly Atherton team 51-7 and moves up to third. Russell County beats a decent Taylor County team 54-14 and basically loses a spot to fall behind Knox Central. Don't figure???? Guess Atherton is rated better than Taylor by BGR voters.

Atherton has won 2 games in two years. Taylor was 6 -4 last year. Yet Knox's win moves them up. We should have no problem putting up two more forty point plus "less dominant" wins the next couple weeks then we will see where we stand on the 13th at PC. However if we were to somehow pull the "huge" upset it will only be because they had to be overrated!

Russell county beats an inferior opponent . Hmmmmm should move down in polls this week I would think.
