The Lakers outscored the Knights 6 touchdowns to 2 in three quarters of varsity action tonight. Blake Ellis looked sharp on both sides of the ball with some great runs, good passes and two huge hits on defense. We definitely missed our two starting linemen. The kicking game needs lots of work although Ellis did fine punting.Marion looked better tonight than they have in several years. Both teams got some good work in and enjoyed a cheeseburger together after the game!
