Pretty tough schedule for Coach King and his Patriots. Hopefully I get to see them play this year.

KCC has to play both Jenkins and JBS twice each year due to districts.

Magoffin (11-15)
Cordia (19-10) - District opponent. Should be a lot better in 2013/14 than last year
Hazard (23-6)
Lex Catholic (22-11). Catholic destroyed Cordia last year who gave KCC fits all last season
Letcher (16-12) - district opponent
Fleming County (28-7) - Fleming is no slouch
Buckhorn (15-15) - will be very good this coming season with the talent they have coming back
Perry Central (26-8)
Mercer County (17-14)
Shelby Valley (14-14) - New coach and I'm pretty sure they have a new player as well
Belfry (14-10)

Republic Bank Classic - Lex Cath (22-11), Dixie Heights (17-14), Bardstown (23-10), Henderson County (26-6), Hazard (23-6), Louisville Male (25-9), Warren Central (28-7), Cordia (19-10)

Usually has quality teams in it.

WYMT Classic - Cordia (19-10), Hazard (23-6), Perry County Central (26-8), Lawrence County (20-11)

King of the Bluegrass (One day Classic) - Always has good teams
Not a bad schedule at all.
Time to schedule the Louisville teams, Henry Clay and Scott County.

There are L's on this schedule. Fleming Co will have Burns back for most of the season from what i hear. So "no slouch" is an understatement. If he is healthy they are the best team east of I-75. Warren Central, Lex Cath, Male; PCC, Cordia, and Hazard twice (at least). So yes they have their work cut out for them.

Should be a fun matchup with Justice and Burns. Game is at Montgomery County part of the Joe B. Hall Classic.

I'm sure KCC will lose some games but I don't think it's as easy as people may think.

I think they lose a few too but tough schedule? maybe but I'm pretty confident with 4 players are pretty much all Stars and 5th man that i know will be good. It will be another great season and I'll say back to Rupp!
we will see KCC back at Rupp this year! I'm very confident!

Fleming lost their best player to a knee injury this summer.
I was told Burns will be back by mid-January but I dont know how serious the injury is.
KCC will be a hand full in the 14th and if they three-peat with a good draw could see them on saturday.
Its all about the draw although i think KCC has enough talent to win regardless. I think with a favorable draw you are right they will be playing on Saturday.
