Tyler Radcliffe belted a homer and drove in four runs to lead Spring Valley to a 10-2 win over Lawrence County on Saturday at Boyd County High School. Elijah Wellman also homered for the Timberwolves.
In the second game, Lincoln County (Ky.) edged the Timberwolves, 2-1. Zach Harvey drove in Spring Valley's run. Timberwolves pitcher Aaron Hamm tossed a 1-hitter.
On Friday, Winfield beat Spring Valley, 9-0. Jordan Clark hit a two-run home run for the Generals (12-16).
Spring Valley returns to action Tuesday in West Virginia Class AAA Region IV sectional play at Huntington High. The Timberwolves will play the loser of Monday's game between Huntington and Cabell Midland.

there was only 1 HR in this game and it was wellman, the big kid going to WVU for football. talked to several at the game and this was what they said. don't know how a sports reporter could screw that up.
