Final score from Clay Co. South Laurel missed a couple of chances to tie or close to within 1 point midway of the 4th qtr in this one and Clay's McDaniel hit 7-8 free throws down the stretch to pull this one out for Clay.

South played extremely hard. Some bad calls on either side but, overall another typical 13th region game. It's February and still no separation in the field.

clay co made critical foul shots in the 4th.quarter, south missed several chances late in the game.i think mcdaniel is the key for clay county.rader did a good job defending mcdaniel, at least when souths coaching staff had him in the game.

This game could of went ether way South, didn't shoot the ball well. South missed 12 FT and Clay shot well from the FT line. That was the diffrence in the game. South, could of did a better job taken care of the ball when their PG was out of the game.
