Normally at this time, fans could settle in to see a final month of basketball
leading up to the post season. But thanks to a scheduling quirk, we've got
2 weeks of regular season left if nothing gets lost to weather.
For years now the season has been squeezed from the front
end by football. And this is an anamoly, but let's HOPE that
the KHSAA doesn't get some crazy idea that this is a good
thing, and squeeze the season down permanently.
Not only would I hate to see the season shortened, it's also
the perfect situation to usually have Sweet 16 week coincide
with the first round of the NCAA.
