It was '54, and it was Crispus Attucks. Muncie Central was in
the final, but once they beat Robertson and C-A, there was
no suprise in beating MC.

In 1954, a little school known as Milan High School with a class of just 161 students went up against Muncie Central High School in the Indiana High School State Basketball Championships.
That school had a class of 1,600 students and they were considered favorites.
After seeing Southwestern get destroyed by Henry Clay by 26 and Lafayette by 24 and Pulaski County lose to Scott County and Bryan Station it is looking like a one and done year for the 12th Region.

Seen a sporting event at Milan years ago and got to see the trophy and some neat pics.
Whoever comes out of the 11th better not sleep on that first round game..If it's either Pulaski or Wayne County, that will be a heckuva battle.
What teams are in the 5th region? Who will come out of the 16th? Probably not Rowan, since losing Wing and Co.
The 7th region is in good shape they drawed a bye in the first round and will beat the 13th or 14th in the second round, It to me will be a city finals 6th vs 7th.
