Louisville did everything they could have to keep Strong at Louisville for a long time. First they move to the ACC, now they reward Strong with a very nice contract extension.

An 8 year contract that will pay Strong $3.7 million annually, making him the 7th highest paid coach in college football.

I think with what he done this past season it is well deserved. Some people say that he is over paid. But I don't think so he has earned every dime of it with his commitment to the program and now they have committed to him.
