Stanley Frank Musial died this afternoon. To those of us old enough to remember him, he was known as "The Man". May God bless "The Man" and his family.

I have always believed that the Hall of Fame has several levels of excellence. Stan Musial is in that highest level.

Stan was one of the greatest players I ever had the honor watching play!!

Today was a sad day for baseball, losing 2 great Hall of Famers in Stan Musial & Earl Weaver.

May they rest in peace.

Not only did he spend his entire career with one team. he spent his entire married life with one woman. 71 Years they were married! He truly was "The Man"!
